Tools and systems that hold up in the real world — small towns, small teams, real stakes.
No hype. No pitch. Just building products real people use.
I live and work out of rural Missouri, somewhere between festival grounds and our small family farm. I've spent decades in the trenches of software, product delivery, and "why is this system so complicated?"
I also write at Agile Trenches Collective, where I share real-world lessons from 25+ years in IT, product, and delivery.
These days I'd rather ship something small that works than another bloated enterprise mess nobody uses. I care about clarity, straightforward systems, and solutions that respect people's time and budget.
What I bring to the table:
I'm not selling consulting packages here. This is the studio where I build things — some live, some in beta. All solve real problems.
Exploring a new 2026 collaboration — early stage, still defining the shape.
Paused in 2026 to prioritize focus.
Paused, prototypes retained for future consideration.
Gnomestead Farms is the small family farm my wife Melissa and I run with our kids near Ellington, Missouri. We raise chickens, ducks, rabbits, and goats while working toward a sustainable, regenerative way of living.
Our values are simple: family, community, independence, and self-reliance. As we nurture the land and build a more resilient homestead, we share the journey — stories, tips, and a growing line of Gnomestead gear and future farm-made products. We're not pretending to be influencers. We're actually doing the work.
If you're curious about the products I'm building or want to talk through an idea, reach out anytime. No funnel. No drip sequence.
